1) ATHOLE GUEST HOUSE BATH
Winner of Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice 2010 award, Athole is a large Victorian house boasting high-pressure showers and king-sized beds. Owners Josephine and Wolfgang are keen cyclists and provide visitors with maps and information, as well as a lock-up
garage. Wolfgang says, "Athole is close to both the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath and the Railway Path, which takes you into the heart of Bristol on a traffic-free route. Bath is also the starting point of the Sustrans route to Cornwall." Breakfast includes Wolfgang's own-recipe Swiss muesli."
